How it's actually detected

Every reading is compared to that same pair’s last 180 samples on Gate.io, OKX, and Hyperliquid. A rate has to be a genuine statistical outlier — not just nonzero — before it’s worth a message. Checked every 15 minutes, but a 6-hour cooldown stops one stuck extreme from re-paging you the whole time it stays extreme.
