The same GoPlus Security check meme-coin alerts already use, but standalone — this one surfaces a brand-new token's honeypot, mint-authority, blacklist, and LP-lock findings directly, whether or not it's pumping. One genuine hard flag (like a honeypot) is enough alone; weaker signals need two together before they're worth a message — indexing-lag noise ("data not available yet") never counts toward that on its own. Binance's own new-listing announcements are watched directly, and Coinbase, Kraken, OKX, and Upbit are watched for a brand-new symbol simply appearing on their books; either way, the price is tracked from the moment it's actually tradeable. Only alerts if it's moved a real 5%+ within 30 minutes of going live — confirmed the same way a news headline has to be, not just reported.
When a watchlist coin's price closes above its own real trading history (needs a couple real weeks on record first — no guessing on day one) and does it on real volume, that's a setup many breakout traders use as an entry. New and still proving its real firing rate, so it's /alerts breakout on to enable.
Watchlist coins are percentile-ranked against that same coin's own recent history of short-window price moves — same self-calibrating discipline as funding and whale. Majors are volume-confirmed and told apart from the whole market just moving together. New: big movers. Any other coin listed on Gate.io with real trading behind it ($2M+ a day) that moves 15% or more, up or down, in about an hour on at least $500K of volume gets one alert, then a 6-hour quiet period for that coin. Freshly launched meme coins that passed the scam screen are covered too, with a much higher bar: a 25%+ move in 5 minutes on $50K+ volume, at least $50K in the pool, one alert per coin name every 6 hours. Same reasoning as breakout on defaults: new, so it's /alerts momentum on to enable.
DexScreener surfaces fresh pairs across Solana, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, and Robinhood Chain in their first hour; a real volume spike is only the entry ticket. Every candidate then has to clear a GoPlus Security check — holder concentration and LP lock/burn — before it's worth a message. Off by default (/memealerts on to enable) because this category is inherently higher-risk than most of the others, even filtered.
BTC moves are watched live from the mempool at a size threshold, Ethereum flows are checked against 22 known addresses across six major exchanges, and Hyperliquid trades are flagged only when a single trade is bigger than 99% of that pair's own recent trades — so "whale alert" means an exchange inflow/outflow or a genuinely abnormal trade, never just a big round number. Major outlets flag a candidate story — that's the entry ticket, not the alert. It only fires once the tagged coin's price actually moves a real amount within the following hour. A story everyone's covering that the market shrugs off never reaches your chat.
Every reading is compared to that same pair's last 180 samples on Gate.io, OKX, and Hyperliquid. A rate has to be a genuine statistical outlier — not just nonzero — before it's worth a message. Checked every 15 minutes, but a 6-hour cooldown stops one stuck extreme from re-paging you the whole time it stays extreme.

Every alert's outcome is tracked automatically, 1h and 24h later, and averaged — live, not cherry-picked. This is average absolute price movement, not a "win rate": a whale-flow or funding alert doesn't predict a direction, so claiming one would be overclaiming. "How much did price typically move afterward" is the honest, non-manipulable number instead. Categories below are the ones with enough alerts so far to be worth showing — the rest are still building sample size.
