Where the news comes from

Exchanges, directBinance and OKX listing and delisting announcements, Bitget spot listings, and Upbit listings, delistings and trading-caution flags (Korean posts get an English label).
Telegram channels14 public news channels, including Watcher Guru, BWEnews, Phoenix News, Wu Blockchain, Lookonchain, and the Binance, OKX, Bybit and Hyperliquid announcement channels.
News sitesCoinDesk, Cointelegraph, Decrypt and The Block, checked every minute. They're usually the slowest, so they mostly fill gaps.
The exchanges and Telegram channels are checked every 15 seconds. When the same story shows up in several places, you get it once, from whichever source had it first.

What counts as a catalyst

Listings and delistings, exchange warning flags, hacks and exploits, ETFs, regulation and lawsuits, outages and halts, upgrades and forks, token unlocks and burns, partnerships, big institutional buys and sells, and bankruptcies. A headline needs one of these to be sent. A market roundup naming lots of coins is skipped.

A headline, not a signal

Alpha Feed is built for speed: it sends the headline without waiting to see how price reacts. That makes it early, and also noisier, because some headlines won't move anything. Squelch's other news alert, News catalysts, makes the opposite trade-off: it waits until price has actually moved before telling you.

Commands

/mycoins add BTC SOLAdd any coins you want, several at once: BTC, ETH, SOL, PEPE, etc./mycoins remove SOL drops one, /mycoins clear empties the list.
/alerts alpha offTurn it off. /alerts alpha on turns it back on.
Your /mycoins list also narrows whale, funding, momentum and breakout alerts. When Alpha Feed is set to all crypto news, the list doesn't limit it.
